JEFF HAVENER

Jeff Havener is a seasoned real estate and construction executive with more than 28 years of experience delivering residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects throughout the Triangle. His work is grounded in thoughtful planning, strong community partnerships, and a long-term vision for sustainable, people-centered development.

Over the course of his career, Jeff has led teams in the full lifecycle of development — from land acquisition and entitlements through design, construction, and final delivery. He has launched new business divisions, scaled operations, and guided complex projects that balance financial performance with community value. Known for his collaborative leadership style, Jeff brings together public and private partners to move projects forward with purpose and integrity.

Jeff is a licensed North Carolina General Contractor and Real Estate Broker. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In addition to his professional work, Jeff is deeply engaged in civic life. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Greenway Advisory Board, Chair of the Affordable Housing Committee for the West Raleigh Alliance, and Co-Founder of Friends of Raleigh Greenway. Through these roles, he advocates for inclusive growth, access to green spaces, and the preservation of Raleigh’s historic and cultural assets.

Jeff lives in Raleigh with his wife and two children. He enjoys running, being outdoors, volunteering, and traveling with his family.
